Mrs. Hake’s Friday, Oct.14th edition CLASSROOM news Week in Review: Sneak Preview This week we met Nellie Nurse and Marvin Monkey. We worked hard in our guided reading groups using leveled books from our book room to begin our reading! We wrote about our trip to Fulton Farms and discovered the scientific process as we discussed sinking and floating. We learned science words like “hypothesis”. Can you believe the pumpkin floats because it is less dense than water? We continued to sort and graph using M&Ms, worked on numbers, and had a fire safety presentation. We loved our trip to Fulton Farms! Thank you to Tipp Foundation for funding our trip! Thank you also to all volunteers who joined us!
