Pro-choice abortion and More!!
Women’s Health rights Pro-choice abortion and More!!

Roe vs. Wade Jan. 22nd 1973 the Supreme Court made abortion legal in the U.S. stating that it was a “fundamental right” for women in the case Roe vs. Wade. Norma McCorvey “Jane Roe” wanted an abortion but, could not afford to leave the state and pay to receive one somewhere else. She sued Henry Wade, the Dallas District Attorney, that the law was unconstitutional and violated her rights.
3
Abortion before Roe Vs. Wade
Very risky and unsafe procedures were done. Many women attempted to give themselves abortions if they couldn’t find anyone willing to do a procedure. They had to travel to different states or countries to get an abortion. The rich always found a way for an abortion while the lower class women had to resort to dangerous means of abortion.

ProLife Abortion is murder because the fetus is a living human being.
Fetuses feel pain during the procedure. Against the word of God and goes against religious beliefs. Abortions reduce the number of babies being put up for adoption. So willing people that can’t conceive themselves have a lesser chance of adopting.

Prochoice isn’t pro-abortion
Prochoice is just saying “Don’t tell me what I can and can not do with my body.” Abortion is NEVER something a woman wants. It is the hardest choice that a woman could ever make.
7
Pro-choice: Choice is Choice for a reason
If you don’t want an abortion. Then guess what? Don’t have one. If you want an abortion. Then guess what? Have one. PEOPLE HAVE DIFFERENT BELIEFS. The woman next to you may not have the same beliefs as you do. That’s what makes America great. Everyone can choose for themselves.

Planned parenthood Planned Parenthood is made up of 159 medical and non-medical affiliates, which operate more than 650 health clinics in the United States, and it also partners with organizations in 12 countries globally. The organization directly provides a variety of reproductive health services and sexual education, contributes to research in reproductive technology, and does advocacy for expanding and defending reproductive rights. Planned Parenthood is the largest reproductive health provider, including abortion, in the United States. 2.5 million men and women use Planned Parenthood every year to get care. An estimated one in five women have visited a clinic in their lifetime. They provide care to stop 579,000 unintended pregnancies each year. They give 270,000 PAP smears, 360,000 breast exams, 4.2 million tests and treatments for STDS. They have outreach programs to educate 1.5 million young adults each year. Planned Parenthood’s total percentage of operation related to abortion is 3%. The organization is not a place that consists of “baby killers”.

Problem: overturn roe vs. wade
Many conservative lawmakers are attempting to overturn Roe Vs. Wade and make very strict guidelines for abortion. Newly elected supreme court justices are supposedly going to be prolife and will make decisions about women’s rights based on so. Surprise: Men do not have uteruses. So logically they don’t get to make decisions for women when it doesn’t concern them.
10
Solution: Adopting Roe vs. Wade for once and for all
The solution for abortion is to accept the supreme court’s decision on Roe vs. Wade on the public policy of abortion and move on with our lives. You can change whatever laws you want. Women will still get abortions. Trying to make abortion illegal will only divide this country more, cause unsafe abortions, and resort back to the days of coat hangers.

Abortion in the media Abortion rights activists tend to get more ink and air time compared to those that are pro-life with a 2:1 ratio. News sources also say things quite frequently like “A major set back for abortion rights” which could also be taken as “A major victory for abortion opponents.” Surveys consistently show that abortion is essentially a class issue in the United States; the more money and education a person has and the less religious a person is, the more likely the person is to favor abortion rights. Since most big-city journalists tend to be better paid, better-educated and less religious than the general public, it's not surprising that they also tend to favor abortion rights by a large margin; in fact, a 1985 Los Angeles Times Poll of journalists on newspapers of all sizes showed 82% in favor of abortion rights.

Leaders in Prochoice movement
Recently Dr. Nancy Northrup, CEO of the Center for Human Productive Rights. Recently has been in the news over Trump’s election and the idea of Congress defunding Planned Parenthood. Attorney Sarah Weddington was 26 years old when she appeared before the Supreme Court to argue on Jane Roe’s behalf. She was a freshly minted lawyer without significant legal experience. At the time, few women attorneys were practicing at all, much less practicing before the nation’s highest court. Weddington’s age made her the youngest Supreme Court advocate in history. Miley Cyrus, Scarlett Johanson, Lena Dunham, and Julianne Moore are some very outspoken pro- choice activists.

Conclusion Prochoice doesn’t mean people are baby killers or are in favor of abortion. Gives women the right to their own bodies. Your beliefs aren’t everyone’s beliefs.
