Volunteers play a critical role for United Way. As always, volunteers will review agencies and make funding recommendations as to how dollars raised in our community will go toward helping people in need and making the greatest impact.
Volunteers serving on the cabinets will include subject matter experts who will help find best practice solutions for the dollars invested.

6. Eligibility / Minimum Criteria to Apply
Is a not-for-profit organization, has Articles of Incorporation and exemption from federal income tax under Section 501(c)(3).
Has most recent annual certified audit or financial statements and annual report.
Has IRS Form 990 or 990EZ.
Has current fiscal year budget.
Serves Orange, Osceola, and/or Seminole County.

7. Eligibility / Minimum Criteria to Apply
Program must demonstrate:
Alignment with HFUW’s investment area goals.
How the investment area activities/outputs and corresponding outcomes/indicators listed in HFUW’s RFP apply to the proposed program.
The geographic area that will be served.
The target population for services.

The applicant agency did not meet the minimum criteria to apply.
The proposed program did not strongly align with HFUW’s investment areas.
