2 90’s TV shows Some of the most famous and recognisable television programmes and series can find their origin from the 1990’s. Television in the 90’s brought us the likes of Friends, Saved by the Bell, The Fresh Prince of Bel Air and Seinfeld, which technically started in 1989 but is widely associated with the 90’s. Shows played on T.V weren’t only live action but many popular animated shows are from the 90’s, such as ‘SpongeBob Square pants’, ‘Rugrats’, ‘Hey Arnold’ and ‘Beavis and Butthead’. ‘The Simpsons’ was massively popular in the 90’s.

6 Friends an American television sitcom, created by David Crane and Marta Kauffman, originally aired on NBC from September 22, 1994, to May 6, 2004, lasting ten seasons. It revolves around a circle of friends living in Manhattan. produced by Bright/Kauffman/Crane Productions, in association with Warner Bros. Television.

8 ER- ER is an American medical drama television series created by novelist and medical doctor Michael Crichton that aired on NBC from September 19, 1994, to April 2, 2009. It was produced by Constant c Productions and Amblin Television, in association with Warner Bros. Television. ER follows the inner life of the emergency room (ER) of fictional County General Hospital in Chicago, Illinois, and various critical issues faced by the room's physicians and staff. The show ran for 15 seasons with a total of 331 episodes, becoming the longest-running primetime medical drama in American television history.

Anthony Edwards as Dr Mark Greene. George Clooney as Dr Douglas "Doug" Ross. Sherry Stringfield as Dr Susan Lewis. Noah Wyle as medical student (later Dr) John Carter. Eriq La Salle as Dr Peter Benton.

10 ER- Julianna Margulies guest starred in the pilot as Nurse Carol Hathaway before becoming part of the regular cast. Over the years many members have left and joined the cast.

11 Seinfeld- a sitcom that originally ran for nine seasons on NBC from July 5, 1989, to May 14, 1998. It was created by Larry David and Jerry Seinfeld, the latter starring as a fictionalized version of himself. Set mostly in an apartment block in Manhattan's Upper West Side in New York City, the show features a handful of Jerry's friends and acquaintances. Seinfeld was produced by Castle Rock Entertainment. In syndication the series has been distributed by Sony Pictures Television since It was largely co-written by David and Seinfeld with script writers.

Cosmo Kramer (Michael Richards) – Kramer is Jerry's "wacky neighbour". George Costanza (Jason Alexander) – George is Jerry's best friend, and has been since high school.
