Information helps us to identify activity – eg champagne shipped! Or identity a problem, for example the costs of obesity, or smoking.
Once we have identified our activity or our problem we can think about how we are going to address it – does France have the capacity to supply all this champagne? Is there an over demand?
What impact do interventions have on obese individuals? Does it reduce the strain on the service?

Aim: to develop high quality data for and with AHPs in NHSScotland
Working with you to develop high quality information for AHPs throughout Scotland
Building on the work of the AHP Census & NCDDP Standards

AHP Census data was an invaluable exercise and provided lots of really useful information.
Build on this and hope, in time, to provide you with accurate information on your real waiting times

16. AHP Data Project Developing dataset, data definitions and standards
Feasibility and Usability Pilot in September 2009
One months data collection using dataset and data collection form

Plan to begin incremental implementation from April 2010, by profession
The project will offer support and advice throughout the process, from pilot all the way through implementation to ensure that the dataset can be implemented successfully and can be sustained in the long term
