Eat the elephant… Application testing Design & Pilot Global Rollout Talking Points: We understand clearly that licensing needs to be an enabler of this new world and that’s why we have been investing to make it easier for you to do business with Microsoft. We have focused our investments on three main areas: Create an easy way to license all the cloud services and on-premises software you need Make sure purchasing is fast and flexible Allow you to realize more value in one simplified agreement Essentially, we’ve been working hard to simplify our licensing models. In response, Microsoft Products and Services Agreement (MPSA) is a modern agreement, designed for the mobile-first, cloud-first world. Customer, Microsoft, Computacenter collaboration

There are no purchase minimums to get started with an MPSA, just review and sign the agreement online and you can start buying. And since MPSA does not expire, you won’t have to go through any agreement renewal process. While there are no purchase minimums to start, there are some requirements to continue purchasing through the MPSA. Let’s take a look at purchase points. Purchase Points: Microsoft categorizes products into three distinct pools with tiered price levels: Applications, Systems and Servers. Each product you buy is assigned a number of points and a pool. The more you buy, the more points you achieve and the lower the price you pay for the product. Points are combined across like Purchasing Accounts so you always achieve the most beneficial price level. (government and academic organizations each have a single price level). To continue buying through MPSA, an organization must reach 500 points or buy at least 250 seats of a cloud service in a single product pool by each year anniversary. Let’s dive in a little deeper. Points from both cloud services and software purchases across all like Purchasing Accounts (commercial, government, academic) are combined, so customers automatically receive the best available discount for every purchase based on the points per pool. Note: Commercial organizations also automatically get the next discount price level for a pool as soon as they meet the corresponding annual point minimums. The order that qualifies you for the next discount threshold (for example, Level A to Level B) receives the discount. All subsequent orders across the organization with the same account type receive the new price level automatically. No on-desk Upgrade Laptop Swap + New Comers
