24 “When an impure spirit comes out of a person, it goes through arid places seeking rest and does not find it. Then it says, ‘I will return to the house I left.’ 25 When it arrives, it finds the house swept clean and put in order. 26 Then it goes and takes seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and live there. And the final condition of that person is worse than the first.” Luke 11:14-26

37 On the last and greatest day of the festival, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. 38 Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.” 39 By this he meant the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were later to receive. Up to that time the Spirit had not been given, since Jesus had not yet been glorified. John 7:37-39

“There is nothing about the Holy Spirit strange or eerie
“There is nothing about the Holy Spirit strange or eerie. I believe it has been the work of the devil to surround the person of the Holy Spirit with an aura of strangeness so that the people of God feel that this Spirit-filled life is a life of being odd and peculiar, of being a bit uncanny.

“It is not abnormal. I admit that it is unusual because there are so few people who walk in the light of it or enjoy it but it is not abnormal.” “This is nothing added or extra. The Spirit-filled life is not a special, deluxe edition of Christianity. It is part and parcel of the total plan of God for his people. A.W. Tozer
