SECTION 4.7 ESV

MAIN IDEA God’s undeserved gift of grace is freely given to everyone who trusts Jesus as Savior. God continues to bless us with grace throughout our lives as the Holy Spirit teaches us how to be more like Jesus, how to obey, forgive, help and tell others the good news about God’s grace. ESV

MEMORY VERSES ROMANS 5:1-2 Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Through Him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God. ESV

MEMORY VERSES GALATIANS 3:2-3 Let me ask you only this: Did you receive the Spirit by works of the law or by hearing with faith? Are you so foolish? Having begun by the Spirit, are you now being perfected by the flesh? ESV

MEMORY VERSES TITUS 3:1 Remind them to be submissive to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready for every good work. ESV

MEMORY VERSES EPHESIANS 4:32 Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you. ESV

MEMORY VERSES 1 TIMOTHY 1:13-14 Though formerly I was a blasphemer, persecutor, and insolent opponent. But I received mercy because I had acted ignorantly in unbelief. And the grace of our Lord overflowed for me with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus. ESV

MEMORY VERSES GALATIANS 6:9-10 And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith. ESV
