Car Rider Procedures at Morning drop off/car pool line begins at 7:20. Late afternoon check out needs to occur prior to 2:00. From 2:00-2:30, our front office is very busy with dismissal. In 4th grade, we strive for your child to become an independent learner and to take responsibility for their own actions. Give Me Five - school wide behavior system Classroom Rules VIP program Assignment Board/Agendas (please sign agendas Monday)

5 VIP Program Focuses on positive reinforcement
Clip chart: move up & down due to choices; at the end of the day where your clip lands is what is recorded 25 stars makes you a VIP (does not have to be consecutive) VIP privileges Stay a VIP as long as you remain a role model Quarterly VIP outing All students start back over at the beginning of a quarter

13 Homework and Daily Preparedness
Given nightly, except on weekends Spelling tests on Friday Projects will be announced with ample time to complete and will be accompanied by a rubric Any money or important office information must be placed in a closed labeled envelope. **If assignments are not turned in on time they will be completed in study hall during recess and their behavior chart will be marked. A percentage of the final grade will be deducted for each day late an assignment is turned in.

Agenda – Agendas filled out for the week on Monday, please sign Monday night Behavior contract - Sign over the weekend Weekly Report- Sign on Mondays I am asking the children to be responsible and show you all communication and papers that will go home in the Black Communication folder. Please help them to remember this. All graded work will be in the folder. If something goes home that does NOT have a grade on it, that work was completed together.

19 Oops Pass Sometimes YOU are the reason your child was unable to do their homework. You may turn in a parent Oops Pass to give your child a one day extension for their homework. This does NOT work on an extension project. You only get 4 for the year.

20 Wellness Wednesdays Our PTA Health & Wellness Committee encourages families to participate in Wellness Wednesdays beginning next week. Students are encouraged to bring fresh fruit or veggies for snack every Wednesday. Fruit donations are provided to one grade level each week. Our Partners in Education and other local businesses in our community are sponsoring this program.
