4 Aim The aim of the Award is to encourage portable operation by amateur radio operators from within South Australia’s 21 National Parks and 269 Conservation Parks

7 What do I need? Transceiver Antenna Power source
Anything that will go portable FT817nd Elecraft KX3 Antenna Linked dipole Power source SLAB, LIPO, LiFePO

8 Basic rules Must be National Park or Conservation Park No mobile
Strictly portable No repeaters, IRLP, Echolink NP – 2 points CP – 1 point

9 Basic rules Each park can be activated for points, each 12 calendar months 1 QSO deemed to be activation Each park can be worked as a Hunter for points every UTC day.

10 Levels (Australia) Bronze 10 points Silver 20 points Gold 35 points
Platinum points Diamond points (incl all 21 NPs)

24 About WWFF Commenced 2008 as WFF
Initiated by the Russian Robinson Club Relaunched as WWFF in late 2012 Run by the co-ordinators of a large number of Flora & Fauna programs. WWFF Council Chairman, Vice chairman, Council members 38 participating countries Each park issued with a unique identifying reference number ITU allocated prefix, FF for Flora & Fauna, and a unique identifying number, e.g. VKFF-001

25 44 During a WWFF QSO you may hear reference to ‘44’.
The first digit ‘4’ represents the four elements: earth, water, air, and fire. The second digit ‘4’ represents the four directions: north, south, east, and west.
