Power supply and consumption in building 175: 32A total, 13A reserved for VME crates and UPS recharging, 19A left for valtical cluster, currently valtical cluster needs ~12A at full load, 7 A for new machines One 16 core machine needs ~1.5A at full load, ~0.8A at idle status (2)

Service Reports PDU was installed between the UPS and the cluster, after that, valtical00 can’t start up due to connection problem with a hard disk which serves as /data5 This disk was removed and checked but no bad block was found, then it was reconnected to valtical00 via USB line, a new 2T hard disk was delivered and used to replace the previous /data5, data are transferred to this new hard disk but some problem happened during NFS mouting, fixed later. Unexpected power cut in the cluster room last Friday morning, recovered later (4)
