People reported that they did not feel their housing situation was secure
Did not know where they would go after time was up
Reported feeling stress due to worrying about where they will stay
Shelters offer a lot of different resources for people to use
Interviewees had been evicted from camp

Saw a positive impact on children’s schooling
People felt more financial security
Spending less on rent and utilities
People felt safer in their houses and neighborhoods
Less use of government assistance
More stable, don’t have to worry about day to day
