Fargotstein, RN, MN Clinical Associate Professor Lincoln Center for Applied Ethics Fellow in Nursing & Health Care Ethics College of Nursing and Health Innovation at the Downtown Phoenix Campus I have come to appreciate what a complex system the University is and how the Senate functions as a clearinghouse, so to speak, for the mission/vision/goals of the university and a voice representing faculty with university administration. It is imperative that the University Senate work in collaboration with the University Administration for realizing the goals set and maintaining the integrity of the faculty role in promoting student learning and community contributions.
