Comprehensive, interactive, accessible and easy to use software which includes career, college, scholarship, and financial aid components Allows students to work independently and/or with their teachers and parents to identify their interest and talents, and provide corresponding information regarding the possibilities that exist for them in post secondary education and the world of work Web-based software which can be accessed from any computer with internet access Designed for 6th through 12th grade students in New York State

Go to Available from any computer with Internet access Login Click on “Student Login” Enter “School ID” and “School Password” Provided by Guidance Department Enter Personal “Student ID” and “Student Password” First visit: Create personal student account and login Subsequent visits: Enter personal “Student ID” and “Student Password” Web-site utilizes the highest SSL-encryption level of security

Interest Profiler Online vocational interest assessment. Students receive a profile of their vocational interests that: Provides valuable self-knowledge about their vocational personality types; Fosters career awareness of matching occupations Directly links students to the world of work via a database of occupations Crosswalks students from occupations to post secondary education opportunities via a college database. Fully research based and validates instrument and data The Interest Profiler is a research based assessment and has been validated by the U.S. Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration.
