3 Introduction: Why do we engage in Mobile Learning
The main reason as to why we engage in mobile learning is to enhance our learning experience. By adopting mobile learning, it can increase learner satisfaction and retention. It allows the user to communicate with tutors and peers easily, as well as access learning resources while on the move.

4 Advantages of mobile Learning
Learning Flexibility - users can access content easily whenever and wherever. - with content such as videos, podcasts and other multimedia formats available on smartphones and tablets it gives users an easier understanding. A Clear Path to Learning - mobile learning platforms are integrated with phone-based learning reminders and organizers which allows learners to receive ongoing alerts and updates Learners can also easily pick up coursework right where they left off, without losing the content they previously studied. This makes for a more personalized learning path than can be achieved in a non-mobile learning platform. Encourages self-paced Learning - users can go at their own pace - results in a better performance Boosts learner engagement - reduces verbal and desktop communication in the work place - erases a sense of boredom

5 Disadvantages of Mobile LEARNING
Cost - monthly data charges The size of device - small screen can result eye- strain - only a small amount of content can be displayed on a small screen at once. 3. Battery Life – on certain devices the battery life only last between two to four hours, other do extend to eight to ten hours. This may become a problem if an individual is working on something important and the device crashes. 4. Connectivity may be limited - wireless connection is essential and may not always be as fast and efficient as normal.

6 Special Education and mobile learning
Nowadays many schools have introduced ipads in order to encourage mobile learning for all students. This is especially beneficial for special education children with learning difficulties. It aids them in the following ways: It helps with learning strategies Makes learning easier by using bright colors etc. Encourages learning by allowing a child to interact and get involved It often help teachers personalize lessons and skills enhancement to each child. Technology can give access to learning opportunities previously closed to them. E-readers help students turn book pages without applying dexterity, and voice adaptive software can help students answer questions without needing to write.

7 Collaborative Learning
Allows two or more people to work on group assignments through communicating face-to-face but also through online discussion forums Collaborative learning is commonly illustrated when groups of students work together to search for understanding, meaning and solutions or to create an artifact or product of their learning. Helps students to share their ideas whilst also learn effectively and efficiently from others.
