1 Become a Student Ambassador
UWE students with the right to work in the UK can apply to become a Student Ambassador. The application period is open from 1 September to 1 November Interviews and training for ambassador roles will take place in January Full details about the scheme and how students can apply can be found on the Student Ambassador web page, Stefani Oliver, Student Partnership Services

2 UWE Student Ambassador
Student Ambassadors are a diverse team of students who undertake paid work to support University events UWE student ambassadors are managed by Recruitment and Outreach team, Student Partnership Services. Ambassadors support the University through a wide range of events for faculties and services some of which include: Open DaysConferences and Lectures Airport pick ups for International Students CPA concerts and performances Welcome Weekend Award Ceremonies Photography and filming Research focus groups Post-16 school and international visits Course specific interviews Faculty/department activities UCAS fairs

3 STEM Student Ambassador
Further training will be provided to UWE Ambassadors who want to become STEM Ambassadors. Specific STEM training will be provided by staff from FET and will take place in conjunction with generic student ambassador training. STEM Ambassadors support the University through a wide range of events some of which include: BoxED - STEM activities in a box STEM School Activity Days Bloodhound and EDF Technology clubs Throughout year 6 days, 1st 2 weeks June October-May ½ day per week for weeks, Jan-March

Are you: confident working with young people? able to lead hands-on activities in a classroom? keen on STEM subjects? enthusiastic enough to lead min sessions? UWE BoxED BoxED is a new UWE outreach project. The Boxes are minute activities related to STEM subjects for classes in primary and secondary schools. Each session will have two student ambassadors working as a team to present ideas, instruct and help the kids get involved in experiments and demos. Activities include: making gliders, 3D drawing, forensics, microbes, water filtration, air pollution analysis, LEGO engineering and more. Think you could? Send your CV to
