What’s new in this years review
Crisis management procedures:
In the event of a fatality of rider or horse or Code 1 incident
In the event of an accident that involves hospitalisation of the rider, the adult in charge of the event/rally must inform the General Manager of NZPCA of the accident within 24 hours. Tel: Ext 718.
In the event of the death of a rider the adult in charge must text the General Manager, as soon as possible with Code GREEN. The GM will then ring the adult and assist in media statements and support for those involved
The H & S Officer of the event/rally or the adult in charge must also notify WorkSafe NZ of the accident. The date, time and name of the WorkSafe receptionist must be recorded.
