The combination of physical, mental/emotional, and social well-being Is much more than just being healthy. It is an overall state of well-being, or total health. Must be a part of your daily routine

Definitions Adolescence – the time of life between childhood and adulthood. TEENAGERS! Hormones – Chemical substances that help regulate many body functions.

7 Positive Lifestyle factors
Maintain a healthy weight by eating right & getting regular exercise Avoid substance abuse Regular interaction with friends and family – Be social, but make sure it’s positive Have a hobby (something you enjoy doing and yes you can have more than one) Manage your stress Educate yourself Get regular good sleep and have a sleep routine for your body
