2. President: Cynthia No school Friday November 11th (Veterans day)
No school Friday November 18th (Student free day) then right into fall break
Fall break- November 21st-25th, school resumes November 28th
Blue/Green group line up in order (ensure line leader is counting kids every time they line up, working parents do the same) ALSO line kids up alphabetically by first name, laminated sheets in apron bin

3. City of Cerritos Tree Lighting Event
Monday, November Cerritos Civic Center (no school, first day of Fall break)
Line-up at 4:30pm, performance at 5pm
Holiday Attire
Children will sing 2 songs
Sign-up will be posted on announcement board as well as additional/new information
Craft area, caroling, refreshments & performances
Details will be posted on announcement board as date approaches
Teacher karen will provide copy of songs so parents can practice at home

4. Vice-President: Dorina
Working members write 9:00am, child 9:15am
Parents don’t grab blue group buckets until they’ve gone inside for closing.
Make sure your child’s bucket has a set of wipes, check extra set of clothes, make sure weather appropriate

5. Cont’d
Working parents follow rules according to group color. 1 Red member must stand near tether ball pole other by bathroom, 1 Blue member in grassy area near craft. Green members interact with kids at tables. At 9:30am, 1 green member puts tables/toys etc. away while other lines green group up. Blue member helps green member but stuff away after 9:35am if needed.
Change in red member clean up duties: Class carpet will be put away AFTER all kids have been dismissed.

6. Treasurer: Angie Tuition payment due today
$5 per day if annual tuition installments and penalties are not paid within 5 school days after General Meeting. Starting the 6th day, $5 penalty will apply each day
First absence from General meeting is excused, $20 fine for each subsequent missed meeting

NOVEMBER Field Trip- Tuesday, November 10:00am- 12:30pm
Santa Ana Zoo

Meet at 9:55am for yearbook pic
Tot lot students wear tot lot shirts. Comfortable attire (shoes, hats, etc.)
Tot lot kids free, additional children/siblings pay $5
Adults $8
Sign up/pay $ no later than Tuesday, Nov 1st

Field trips in general: Please be on time, sometimes we may be on a scheduled tour and you don’t want to miss out. If payment is not received by due date you will have to pay the day of field trip.
REMINDER: Picture day this Thursday, arrive on time (Pause for Great Shakeout)
Fall pictures take a few weeks, please purchase pictures as HPTL gets a portion of sales.
LOOKING AHEAD: Disney on Ice (Long Beach Arena)
Wed, Dec 7pm ($25/person, $10 parking)
Under 2yrs old no purchase of ticket needed if sitting on lap

9. Teacher Karen Calendar Homework due Tuesday, October 25th
Please see me after meeting with any questions regarding curriculum etc.

10. Monday MOD: Annette October Craft Winner
Check schedule frequently so you don’t miss craft due date
Try to make craft according to what children are learning in class that week. Refer to monthly calendar
Remember when YOU are teaching craft. Be verbal, explain/show steps to children. Praise when kids are listening or following instructions. If possible assist kids who need help cutting, etc.
If you turn craft in and you are asked to add/remove additional items to craft please do so or you will incur a $15 penalty

11. Tuesday MOD: Amy
LOOKING AHEAD: Thanksgiving Party will be Tuesday, November 15th.
Small party. No parents please.
Thanksgiving Party Menu:

12. Wednesday MOD: Camille
Halloween Party Monday, October 31st
Class picture at 9:50am-9:55am
Parade at basketball court at 955am-10:10am
Groups will resume normal rotations and “trick or treat”, play games during their playground time. Parents are welcome to stay and watch
Working members please dress up, Monday and Wednesday workers
Food will be provided for working members ONLY in MPR during lunch. Goodie bags due October 24th

13. Thursday MOD: Suri
LOOKING AHEAD: Christmas Party- Friday, December 16th @ CPE (During school hours) Details will be announced at November GM,
Parents will drop off at CPE, return for performance
Thursday working members will assist Friday members
Each student bring Goodie Bags for Christmas Party, Parents collecting bags will be notified at November GM
