Planned shopping center: marketed as a unit, free parking, single convenient location. Neighborhood > 5-15 Supermarket & small convenient Community > 10-30 Regional> up to 200 stores Power center> located near regional, made up of huge specialty stores as stand-alone stores.

3 4-Lifestyle Centers Mall of America:
Shopping, movies, concerts, live entertainment, park benches, restaurants all located in one place. Mall of America is one of the most visited destinations in the United States, attracting more visitors annually than Disney World, Graceland and the Grand Canyon combined.

Promoted as the world’s largest mall. Over 800 stores. There are 110 eating establishments.

Physical characteristics and amenities that attract customers and satisfy their shopping needs. Exterior> architectural design, window displays, signs, entryways, etc. Interior> store layout, merchandise presentation, lighting, color, sounds, scents, cleanliness, etc.
