2. Truck Traffic The trash truck has to turn on the pavement.
Concrete paving was installed where the truck turns.

3. Traffic Circle The traffic circle is constructed out of asphalt.
A flush concrete curb was installed to separate the flexible and rigid pavements.

4. Limited Site Access Site was soft and muddy.
The concrete trucks tires would have contaminated the clean stone.
All of the concrete was placed with wheelbarrows.

5. Cold Weather Placement was in December.
Standard cold weather practices applied.

6. Clogging
Sheet flow across the conventional pavement is carrying contaminants.
Roof drains are discharging through the face of the curb.

7. Excavating
The light pole bases were close to the pavement.

8. Saturated Pavement The last parking stalls hold water in the pavement.
There is no outfall designed.

9. Performance Very little raveling of surface. No random cracking.
Pavement percolates rapidly.
Limited clogging at the edges.
