2. Lesson 1: “Time” for a Zoo Day I’m dreaming about a perfect zoo day with my best friend! We have from11:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. to spend at the zoo.

3. Create our perfect zoo day schedule with:
A half hour lunch
At least 1 VIP experience
At least 2 rides
At least 1 chance to feed animals (goats, giraffes, or ducks)
Visit at least 2 attraction areas

5. At least 2 rides on the schedule!

26. Lesson 2: How Much will it Cost?
Now that you have a zoo day schedule created, you will need to calculate how much this trip will cost.
Use the PowerPoint slides to find ALL of the prices!
Use the graphic organizer to record your calculations.

27. Extension activity: Who and What?
I’m dreaming about my perfect zoo day with my sister and nieces! My nieces are ages 2 and 4. My sister and I are both adults.
Create a new schedule and calculate how much it will cost to go to the zoo with my family!
P.S. You MUST pick a new VIP experience and new rides.

28. Create my family’s perfect zoo day schedule with:
A half hour lunch and 1 snack break
At least 1 VIP experience
At least 2 rides
At least 1 chance to feed animals (goats, giraffes, or ducks)
Visit at least 2 attraction areas
We will need to rent a double stroller.
