As a building, Mill Creek has aligned our homework practices with best practices and current research. Our goal(s) are to bring flexibility to students and families, while providing choices that are important and meaningful to all third graders.

9. Reading and writing go together to show proficiency
Another transition for third graders is adding more opportunities to write responses to demonstrate reading skills/strategies (Across the curriculum)
Complete sentences, purposeful vocabulary, and connecting ideas are the targeted goal.
We are learning to read and reading to learn throughout the year.

Sick work: If it’s a day or two, they will complete when they return. If it is extended, call and I will work with you.
