1 How to Get Tech Donations: A Special TechSoup Webinar for Georgia Libraries
With Ginny Mies and Aaron Dowell, TechSoup August 17, 2016 Welcome everyone to: Title Thanks so much for joining us today.

2 Using ReadyTalk Chat to ask questions All lines are muted
If you lose your Internet connection, reconnect using the link ed to you. If you lose your phone connection, re-dial the phone number and re-join. ReadyTalk support: Before we get started I want to make sure everyone is comfortable using Readytalk, the webinar platform we are using today. You can chat using the box in the lower left side of your screen. At any time let us know if you have any technical issues such as audio problems or being able to view the slides. You may ask questions for our presenters at any time and we will keep track of them. We will keep all lines muted so that you can get a clear recording to refer to later. You will get that full recording, slides, and any links we share today in a followup from me by tomorrow. If you lose your connection, you can go back to your registration to reconnect. If you were registered more than an hour ago, the reminder has the PowerPoint slide deck attached as a link in the right hand column. Keep in mind a lot of today’s webinar will be a live shared demo so that won’t be in the slides, but will be in the recording to view later. If you are hearing an echo, you may be logged in twice, so you will need to close one of the Readytalk windows. If you have any other technical issues, dial into the 800 number. Your audio will play through your computer’s speakers. Hear an echo? You may be logged in twice and will need to close one instance of ReadyTalk.

9 About TechSoup for Libraries
4/16/2018 About TechSoup for Libraries 6.1 M 1 M 600,000 The TechSoup for Libraries program grew out of a desire to specifically address the technology needs of public libraries. An important part of the program is the information developed as part of the MaintainIT Project, which was funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and managed by TechSoup. The Project gathered stories from public libraries about how they support their public computers. These tips and techniques are published in "Cookbooks" and articles, available for free on our website. TechSoup for Libraries continues to gather and share stories from the field so libraries can keep learning from each other. At the end of this Powerpoint presentation, I’m going to do a live demo of the TS4L site so you can see where these Cookbooks and stories live. TechSoup for Libraries gathers and shares stories from the field so libraries can learn from each other
