1 Agenda What is MicroRAE? Value Proposition Markets & Applications Product Features

2 What is MicroRAE? Wireless diffusion 4 gas monitor
Man Down Alarm and GPS capability Bluetooth® Low Energy / Mesh / Wi-Fi Wireless technologies For customers that want to go beyond compliance The MicroRAE, from RAE Systems by Honeywell, is a wireless, portable four-gas detector that brings new capabilities to the ConneXt Safety Solutions (Pack, Plus, Pro and Loneworker) — with a new level of userfriendliness for operators and safety managers. This new four-gas detector, which works with either Wi-Fi or mesh networks, gives customers another reason to consider wireless gas detection. MicroRAE has integrated GPS capability, ensuring that customers can determine the precise location of the worker carrying the detector in a ConneXt Plus, Pro or Loneworker system. The MicroRAE monitors H2S, CO, O2 and LEL with an option to replace one of the sensors with HCN for firefighting applications. But even though these are the four traditional compliance-oriented gases, the MicroRAE targets customers that want to go beyond compliance. These customers, in the “proactive” and “advanced safety” segments, can use real-time visibility on gas detection to drive a culture of safety, productivity and enterprise risk management. Real time visibility to drive culture of safety, productivity and enterprise risk management

3 Value Proposition The MicroRAE brings a higher level of user-friendliness and flexibility to wireless gas detection. It enables real-time visibility on safety threats, so you can make faster, more informed decisions to protect your workers, prevent a crisis and optimize operations. Of course MicroRAE presents a lot of value as a device but it delivers its highest value when combined with other components of a wireless system. The MicroRAE makes it easy to get the benefits of wireless gas detection — whether you have a Wi-Fi network, mesh network or no wireless infrastructure at all (SC). The MicroRAE is compatible with all versions of Honeywell’s ConneXt Safety Solutions, giving you real-time visibility on gas status and worker location — so you can make critical decisions in real time. The MicroRAE is engineered for ease of use — by workers and safety managers — to make customer job easier and facilities safer. 11 Bypassing is recorded as a policy violation
Policy Enforcement Must Bump/Must Cal. features Prevent instrument use if monitor is not calibrated/bump tested to policy Configurable: enable/disable: select whether a user can bypass the requirement “All sensors tested and calibrated” tick mark on UI Quick visual verification of compliance with bump/calibration policies IntelliFlash™ behavior A flashing green light — visible from a distance — that indicates the detector has been bump tested and is monitoring correctly. So you can have peace of mind that workers’ detectors are compliant with government regulation and company policy. Bypassing is recorded as a policy violation

13 Man Down Alarm A critical safety feature of every RAE product
The instrument tracks the time during which it is not moving based on the readings of its motion sensor If the instrument is motionless when it is not supposed to be, something may be wrong with its user Can be enabled or disabled Highly configurable (adjustable sensitivity, timing, etc.) The Man Down Alarm is not only shown locally on the instrument, but also remotely, over the Wireless Network

14 Ecosystem Honeywell is constantly evolving and improving to help create safer, smarter workplaces all over the world. With our best-in-class brands, RAE Systems and BW Technologies, we have developed Honeywell ConneXt Safety Solutions—the most intelligent, real-time wireless gas detection in the market today. Honeywell ConneXt Safety Solutions is designed to provide 3 main value to our customers: Proactive safety and risk reduction Increased productivity and performance Enhanced health and environmental protection

15 MicroRAE - Qualification Questions
1 – How do you manage real time gas detection readings in high risk area? 2 – Do you have colleagues/ partners that operate in remote locations outside the site? Would you see value in receiving also real time data from their gas monitor? 3 – How do you make sure your current solution is properly calibrated / bump tested according to local regulation and/or company policy? 4 – Is worker location important alongside real time gas detection? 5 – How do you handle lone worker applications? 6 – How long does it take for your current gas monitor to be calibrated?
