6 Coach’s Update Off-Season Training Opportunities Captain’s Practice Monday and Wednesday starting October 2nd . 3:45 – 5 pm at AFIC Forms/Physicals Attend winter code of conduct meeting at your home school. Must have Ok from school secretaries by tryouts – no exceptions. Sports Physicals – Orthopedic and Sports Institute of Fox Valley. Season Updates Current schedule is posted online. Thanksgiving Tournament – Milwaukee. Off ice work outs at Appleton North - after school.

7 Coach’s Update Apparel Road – AU branded apparel only, including hats. Road attire will vary throughout the season - sweats or khakis Home – Dress pants, button down shirt, tie, dress shoes - no sneakers. Warm Up Gear - must have sweats & athletic shoes in bag at all times. Off Ice Work-outs – must have an AU t-shirt. Equipment Helmet – Bauer Model – must be navy blue. Team will supply supply gloves, bags, hockey jersey’s & socks. Equipment hand out early November. Tryouts Week of November 6th

9 Booster Club Purpose: Ensure financial resources required by Appleton United Boys’ Hockey Team are available and well managed. Assess player fees and lead fundraising activities Support annual team expenses in excess of those paid by Appleton Area School District Engage in activities to promote and sustain high school boy’s hockey in Appleton. Promote the team on game night, across the schools and community Coordinate the volunteers needed in support of the United Boys Hockey Team.

Corporate Sponsorship ($1000 of $5000 goal) Connect with local businesses you frequent $100, $250, or $500 levels Amazon Smile ($250 goal) Ongoing throughout the year 4. Green Bay Gamblers 50/50 Raffle (target $1000) Sunday, March 25th 5. Festival of Arts – Cancelled

Parent volunteers on Game Day: Entrance table [2] Office ice officials [2] – time clock, score sheet AU-Wear table [2] Note: “Sign Up” system is now open through AU website Over next 2 weeks, please sign up for 5 events On Oct. 4th, will assign individuals to unfilled spots Individual will be responsible to find alternate person if unable to attend on assigned date Booster Club Membership: A 1 year membership is $30, a lifetime membership is $100. Either one allows you to purchase 2 season passes for $15 each
