St. Peter Worship at Key to Life Saturday, June 24, 2017
Presentation of the Augsburg Confession St. Peter Worship at Key to Life Saturday, June 24, 2017
2
Welcome to St. Peter On June 25th, 1530, courageous Lutherans stood before Emperor Charles V and read before him and many other powerful people in the church and state a document that both presented and defended the true Christian faith. This document is called the Augsburg Confession. It continues in our day and age to set forth the truths of God’s Word boldly, positively and clearly. As we commemorate this minor festival in the Church Year may we stand up for Jesus in our generation as others before us have done as well!
3
Prayer Before Worship “Stand up, stand up for Jesus! The strife will not be long; This day the noise of battle, the next, the victor’s song. To him that overcometh a crown of life shall be; He with the King of glory shall reign eternally. Amen.

Therefore, we invite to our altar those who are members of our church or the WELS. Visitors and guests who wish to commune are asked to speak to a pastor before the service begins.
