4. Angle Bisector Place pointy end of compass on vertex of angle
Swing an arc so that it crosses both sides of the angle
From intersections of arc and sides swing arc in the center of angle, arcs should be long enough to intersect
Connect intersection and vertex

5. Angle Bisector Conjecture
If a point is on the bisector of an angle then it is equidistant, perpendicular, from the sides of the angle If a point is equidistant from the sides of an angle it is on the angle bisector

Remember the properties of parallel lines, what angles are congruent and how can we use constructions to help us

Constructing a line parallel to another line through a point
Draw a transversal through point and line
Copy angle made with transversal and line
Copy this angle as either C, AI or AE depending on what angle you are using
This angle will make a parallel line
