4 WebGen’s IUE™ Technology
IUE™ Employs Proven Neural Networking Technology Based on Building Management ‘Best Practices’ To Regulate And Control Energy Usage In Real Time.

5 The Result 15-25% Energy Use Reduction
4/16/2018 The Result 15-25% Energy Use Reduction With Minimal Impact on Tenant Comfort Through Always-Active Permanent Load Reduction Full-Time Peak Load Management (Avoidance & Reduction) Curtailment & Sale Back to Grid Authority Virtual Meter Aggregation, D-Gen & Procurement Equipped with the understanding of how IUE works, we will now illustrate the 4 ways in which is realizes its savings.

6 IUE Allows Building Managers To
Monitor Consumption of Energy Consuming Devices & Meters Aggregate Data for Buildings, Portfolios, Divisions, etc. Correlate Consumption Data with Energy Prices, Occupancy, Current Internal and External Environmental Conditions and Real-Time Satellite Weather Forecasts Continuously “Learn” Device Consumption Patterns and Their Reactions to Change Forecast Usage & Execute Smart Conservation Strategies Intelligently Control Devices Optimize Equipment Settings Demonstrate, Report & Account for Results in Real Time

7 IUE Technology Enhances Building Automation Systems
BAS Proactive Reactive Acts based on Forecasts Acts after Events Intelligent Learning Pre-Programmed Multiple-Goal-based One-dimensional Feedback Loop Portfolio-Focused Building-Focused Continually Optimizing Savings Follows Rules Until Changed Auto-Curtails Across Portfolio Each Building Follows Plan Creates New Earnings Stream No New Earnings Stream

10 Connecting to IUE IUE Connects Existing Building Automation Systems (BAS) to the Internet If No BAS Exists, Equipment is Connected Directly Via WebGen’s Wireless Connectivity Solution Building Equipment & Meters are Mapped to WebGen’s IUE Servers Data Exchange Begins, Real-Time Monitoring & Control Signals are Sent Via Secure Internet Connection

11 Logging In Access system through any standard Web browser with password-protected, encrypted log-in.

12 Detailed Analysis of Consumption
Consumption Analysis Detailed Analysis of Consumption kWh consumption over time Cyclical kw demand Selectable From and To Dates

13 Actions Taken

14 Savings Detail Detailed Savings

15 Daily Savings by Agent Strategy

16 System Benefits Tenant/Guest/Employee Satisfaction & Security
Increases Perceived Value and Reduces Costs Provides Consistent Comfort (space temp, air quality) Heightens Safety (chemical and substance “sniffer” options) Stakeholder/Management Bottom Line Reduces Energy Costs Eliminates Uncertainty of Energy Price & Capacity Leads in Conservation & Technology Increased Asset Value Lowers Costs--Delivers Higher Capitalized Value

18 Energy Curtailment For The California Energy Commission June 27, 2002
Bank of America Energy Curtailment For The California Energy Commission June 27, 2002

19 California Energy Commission Pilot Test
On June 27, 2002, WebGen Systems Intelligent Use of Energy product curtailed 2 Megawatts of power, in 78 Bank of America properties, within the state of California. The total load of the 78 properties was approximately 9 Megawatts The time duration was four hours. The test commenced at 2:00 PM, and completed at 6:00 PM, PDST The following slides display the demand trends for Northern & Southern California, and the aggregate for the pilot test.
