Cover the constraints and information requirements to develop the plan. Transport Mode Selection and Comparison 40 minutes Select and Compare the different modes of transport in terms Time, Cost, Size, Flexibility, Availability, Advantages/Disadvantages Logistics Networks Design Cost drivers and logistics network consideration and distribution networks (hub and spoke vs direct delivery etc.) Implementing a Plan Discuss the process of implementing a plan in an emergency situation and mechanisms for incremental implementation of the plan Lesson End/Plenary EVALUATION / RECAP QUESTIONS: The facilitator should ask the questions below, or similar questions to the class to recap the lesson to ensure participants have understood the lesson content.
