2 Objective To organise country wide assessment, providing common picture and evidence of humanitarian needs, priority geographical areas and affected groups in Syria.

Harmonized Assessment Approach for Syria Crisis Assessment Registry Analysis of assessment meta data Ensure the geographical and temporal synchronization of assessments Use a consistent set of common operational datasets (CODs) Use a consistent set of agreed sectoral indicators Establish a process for collating data from multiple assessments Establish a process for conducting intra- and inter-sectoral data analysis Refugee Place of Origin Perception Assessment (RefPOPA) Coverage: Lebanon, Turkey, Jordan and Iraq with Syrian Refugees Method: Three strata classification: population, conflict and displacement to prioritize Sub-districts. Data collection: Refugees key informant focus groups organized by prioritized sub-districts. Joint Humanitarian Assessment Inter-Sector/Cluster Joint Assessment: Structured data collection and Analysis of situation, needs and gaps by all sector cluster lead agencies Coordination Mechanism: Establishment of Assessment information Management Working group.
