How do people celebrate it? People get together and eat the dumplings. People eat mooncakes. People admire the moon.

6 Spring Festival The Spring Festival is the most famous traditional festival in China. It falls on the 1st, January. Several days before the festival, people cook delicious food, Clean the houses , put up the scrolls and hung the colorful lanterns . On New Year’s eve, every family get together and enjoy dumplings. During the festival people visit relatives and friends. They also go to parks and walk into the libraries. The children are given lucky money. Most boys play crackers. It is a festival that looks forward to the end of winter and the coming of spring. It is also a way to celebrate history and culture. In this way, we keep our culture alive.

7 Mid-autumn Festival The Mid-autumn Festival is one of the most important traditional festivals. It has a long history. The festival is held on 15th, August. It is a festival that celebrates the harvest . On this day, people get together and enjoy the dumplings. After that they eat mooncakes, which stands for reunion. At night, people will admire the moon.
