A combination of 2 or more substances that are not chemically combined.

3. Heterogeneous Mixture
The prefix: "hetero"- indicates difference.
The substances are not uniformly mixed (can pull pieces out).

6. Homogeneous Mixture The prefix: "homo"- indicates sameness
Uniform distribution within the mixture (can’t pull stuff out).
