CAPTURING ATTENTION STAYING TOP OF MIND INCREASING INFLUENCE Context: We have found that 3 challenges come up again and again in terms of the most troubling. Is this what you are seeing too? Or do you have something else to add? Idea: I understand your world. I’m not here to waste your time asking you to teach me about your business. Feels efficient. Honors customer’s time, shows we’ve done our homework. Establish ourselves as someone worth talking to – at least for 5 more minutes.

38 the opportunity Increase your impact – fuel environmental, social, economic metrics. Strengthen your brand – extend your thought-leadership. Expand your reach – increase stakeholder engagement. Context: So the question becomes, how do we address the Key Strategic Challenges in order to reverse this trend and put us in a much stronger position on all these fronts? Idea: Link the challenges to profound implications – bigger challenges than they had imagined & bigger opportunities.

39 OFFER: Humanize the exchange. Enter through the heart.
