2 You are going to have the chance to look at six different butterflies that can all be seen on Greenham Common then you are going to try to remember them! B A C D E F

3 This is a RED ADMIRAL HINT: Look at the red markings on black. Imagine a Admiral’s uniform with red stripes on it.

4 This is a SMALL TORTOISESHELL
HINT: Look at the blue ‘beading’ along the wings….imagine a small tortoise with blue beads on!

5 This is a PEACOCK HINT: Look at the ‘eye’ markings on the wings… just like the markings on a Peacock’s tail!

6 This is a COMMA HINT: Look at the wavy line of the wings like lots of commas on your page!

7 This is a SPECKLED WOOD HINT: Look at the cream markings on brown like speckled light coming through to a woodland floor.

8 This is a GATEKEEPER HINT: Think of the white spots on black as eyes these are the keeper of the gate’s eyes!

9 Are you ready to be tested?
