We believe that…… All children are entitled to have their individual needs appropriately supported and met in order to achieve the highest possible standards and develop in all areas of the foundation stage (Early Years Foundation Stage, 2012) and that it is “unlawful” to treat a child “less favorable for a reason related to their disability”(Equality Act, 2010). Therefor every child is welcome at Adderley Children’s Centre What Ofsted say about us………. Children in Nursery make excellent progress and have already developed many important skills to make them effective learners. “Disabled children and those who have special educational needs are quickly identified” and… “extra help is specially focused” so that the children “make outstanding progress, particularly in becoming independent”. Ofsted Inspection, Nov 2012.
