“Right Door” Approach All doors in a school should lead to assistance ideally within the school walls Identify and provide resources for youth at a vulnerable age Develop and maintain valuable partnerships between students, families and agencies Reduce risk factors and enhance protective factors Provide Individualized Evidenced Based Services and care True North Student Assistance Professionals are specifically trained to collaborate with the student, parent, school staff and community resources. We are on the front line when students are experiencing challenges and can engage them in our services or link them up to outside resources when needed.

Capital Region ESD 113 Our goal is that all students who need treatment will be identified, assessed, and get the needed evidence-based services and supports. Capital Region ESD 113 is the first ESD in Washington State to be dually licensed to provide both mental health and substance abuse clinical treatment services. Currently piloting comprehensive school-based mental health services. Our model provides prevention, intervention, treatment and recovery support services using evidence-based practices. We bridge the gap between schools and community partners.
