2. What is Club Volleyball?

NW Elite Volleyball Club is looking for Boys & Girls to participate in the club volleyball season!

How Do Tryouts Work?

USA Volleyball (the national governing body for the sport of Volleyball) specifies a specific date for clubs to hold tryouts for players seeking to play for the club of their choice.
Each age division typically tries out at a different time and/or on a different date. Club volleyball is competitive. Players are selected for teams based on skill level. Athletes of similar or equal skill level are typically placed on the same teams.
Each club typically has a limited number of teams per age bracket. Unfortunately, not all kids that tryout will be selected for a team.

4. USA Volleyball has put together a chart that will help you determine what age division your athlete should try out for. Your child’s age division will also be printed on their CEVA membership card. (also listed in the Parent Guide to Club Volleyball pg 7)

5. Part-Time VS. Full-Time Teams
Part-time teams typically have one 2-hour practice a week and generally attend one tournament per month.
Full-time teams typically have two 2-hour practices per week and generally attend two tournaments per month.

6. Register for tryouts with NW Elite VBC
Please let us know that your child will be attending tryouts by clicking on the link below and registering with NW Elite Volleyball Club.
The registration process only takes a few minutes. The cost is $10 per athlete.

7. CEVA Membership & Registration
For players, CEVA highly recommends selecting the membership deposit

(Membership Deposit: $10) Good for 5 days of tryouts (not practices). Expires December 15, 2016
After your child makes a team, you can upgrade their membership specific to NW Elite Volleyball Club.

8. What to Bring to Tryouts
Your child will need to bring the following information with them in order to participate in tryouts:

New Members: to obtain membership for the first time with CEVA, please click on this LINK.
Existing CEVA Members: please click on this LINK to renew your annual membership.

9. What to Bring to Tryouts Cont...
Medical Release Form: please click HERE to access and complete this form. Please print this form and bring a completed copy to tryouts.
Parent/Player Concussion Information and Informed Consent Form: please click HERE to review the Heads-Up Concussion in Youth Sports information. Please print out the information and thoroughly review. Once you have completed your review, please sign the Parent/Player Informed Consent Form and bring the signature page to tryouts.
Tryout Fee: the tryout fee per child is $10. You may pay on the website (prompted w/registration) or choose to bring cash or check (made payable to NW Elite Volleyball Club) to tryouts.
