8 PCDC 2017 Status Critical Need: Sponsor pledges fulfilled. All items such as coins, PCDC logo items, trophies, medals, lanyards, being ordered. Still waiting on gold and red team T-shirt orders. Dell: Laptops (online or Best Buy), 17”, 8G memory, 1 TB HD Invitation to speak on Sunday will be made on Friday Held TTC/SPAWAR/AFCEA coordination meeting on 27 Feb at TTC Registration Packets received from all schools. Have T-shirt and meal orders Music coordinator- Stephen Stills, awaiting song choices 100 extra chairs for Monday for keynote speaker- will replace Forensics Horseshoe May be visited by Acting Assistant Secretary of Defense for Research and the Acting Secretary of Defense for Research.

1st Q&A Sessions will be held on Wednesday, 15 March from 2-3 PM Charleston SC TOLL FREE * This has limited capacity. ONLY use if a local # was not provided for your geographical area above ID/Reservation Number: 99166# SECCDC Qualifier is in and we have a new school: Claflin Received a request from professor at University of Maryland to compete David Ferreira from Horry Georgetown Tech College plans on visiting and may enter qualifier next year Will need name of students for Pro Day imbed Will utilize qualifier again next year

Gordon: looking at 5 man team from Cyber Protection Brigade Q&A sessions will again be held. Dates: March TBD SCNG and NCDOC confirmed May need to adjust schedule to accomodate Senator Scott SC Cyber Proposal (Tom Scott): Hold Lock down Your Login Awareness Event for people in another room at TTC and combine for keynote speaker: Senator Tim Scott (still unconfirmed) Tonya Davis secured use of a room that hold 200+. 14 2017 Palmetto Digital Forensics Competition (PDFC)
Objective: Solve as many forensic scenarios as possible within the allotted time and accumulate the most points possible Participants will be provided access to forensic scenario exercises ranging in difficulty. Each exercise will require the participant to utilize different forensic techniques to uncover a designated “flag”. Flags will be unique to each scenario which can range from date/time stamps, hashes, passwords, etc. Sponsorship by BAH and Sentar Holding meetings every couple weeks at SRC, tomorrow is next Pre-Registration required to guarantee slot (2 per School) 2017 high school and collegiate/pro divisions: 1st 2nd & 3rd place prizes 1st place: Trophy and tablet, 2nd place Swiss Army Backpack, 3rd ODROID Reserved slots for students from schools that finished in top 6-10 in CyberPatriot: Pinewood, Summerville, DW Daniels, Nation Ford, Lexington Composite Squadron: Registration info posted on PCDC website & Facebook PDFC T-shirts will list SENTAR and BAH as sponsors

15 Cyber-In-The Middle PCDC’s Inaugural Middle School Program – Karen Cooke (Lead) Received tentative approval from TTC Trying to influence 7th & 8th graders before they decide on high school track Must do consent waivers Students must be accounted for at all times Dave Coldren (SPAWAR) and James Weaver (ECPI) also helping Curriculum will have minute modules: PCDC Events (broken into 3 groups – Red team, Blue team, Forensics) Computer Deconstruction (and Reconstruction) Into to Cyber (modified from Cyber Camp) One session in morning, another in the afternoon ECPI looking at offering stipends to school reps/chaparones Working on new logo – James Rajabi
