Here to bring imagination.
Welcome! We are the Artic Circle Here to bring imagination.

Who we are We are the Artic Circle, a co-operative team that works hard. Our jobs, in Stepping Into Business, are very important. These are the members in our team: Alex- Project manager. Aurora- Design and production Isobel- Finance Harry- Sales Charlotte B- Marketing

Rudolph badges When we did our market research everyone thought that reindeer badges would sell the best. How we made them: First we used brown felt and shaped it to look like a reindeer. Then we added googly eyes and pom poms for the nose and eyes. Finally we inserted a safety pin in the back so people can wear them with pride! What we need: Brown felt Small red pom poms Pipe cleaners Marker pens Scissors Glue Safety pins

Santa signs We asked the children about this product, they told us that Santa signs could be used to help Santa find their house. How we make this: First get the wood and thread the string. Secondly paint the wood in the colours chosen When dry, we write in marker pen our message. E.g. Santa come this way, cookies milk and carrots over here, Santa clause is coming to town. What we need: Wood String Acrylic paint Brushes Marker pens

Snowman Snowmen are a very popular Christmas theme so we are using this object for one of our products. How we make them: First we fill the sock with cotton wool. Then we tie an elastic band loosely around the middle of the sock. We then a tie ribbon around the elastic band. After that we cut out a circle of paper to make the hat. Finally we sew the buttons on and draw a face. What we need: Marker pens. White socks Cotton wool Elastic bands Ribbon Paper Glue and scissors

Market research What we found out: Most of our ideas were dull to the younger children, but with our feedback we made them more fun and interesting The children informed us that if our products were to sell they would have to appeal to younger children. Now we know that they will sell because pushy toys sell well with all ages. What we did: Firstly we went out onto the field at break time and asked the rest of the school some questions about our inventions. Then we showed them a questionnaire about stepping into business. We took their advice on what they liked and disliked and came to the conclusion of these three products. Our market research showed that people liked our ideas, and that our inventions would sell well.
