What has been your “juggling experience”?
Satisfaction Contentment Joy Peace Loneliness Unmet Expectations Heart Break Anger Key Lessons I have learnt from my juggling experience: The church is not perfect. And yet God can still work through our imperfections. Pastors/ Elders/ Ministry Leaders are not the elite. They aren’t necessarily the most gifted or talented. But they are called by God. I need the church, even though I sometimes don’t want them.

Ephesians 2:11-22 11 Therefore, remember that formerly you who are Gentiles by birth and called “uncircumcised” by those who call themselves “the circumcision” (which is done in the body by human hands)— 12 remember that at that time you were separate from Christ, excluded from citizenship in Israel and foreigners to the covenants of the promise, without hope and without God in the world. 13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ.

14 For he himself is our peace, who has made the two groups one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, 15 by setting aside in his flesh the law with its commands and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new humanity out of the two, thus making peace, 16 and in one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross, by which he put to death their hostility. 17 He came and preached peace to you who were far away and peace to those who were near. 18 For through him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit.
9
19 Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of his household, 20 built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone.21 In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. 22 And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit.

Who are the People of God?
Fellow Citizens with the saints (2:19) Members of the Household of God (2:19) A Holy Temple (2:21) “But our citizenship is in heaven…” (Philippians 3:20) Citizenship Ambassadors Representatives My experience of being a British Citizen in the USA: Funny Stories: UK/Ukraine Do you speak English in England? Different language, accent, perspective, social cues– identity. For those who have never been to the UK before, I am their point of reference of a Brit. We are citizens of heaven– what an incredible privilege! WATCH MASTERCARD COMMERICAL! There are some things that money can’t buy. The People of God are priceless!
11
The People of God are Priceless!
Why should I connect to the People of God? In whom God dwells In whom God reveals himself In whom God carries out His purpose of redemption & reconciliation Because you cannot make it on own your own Because you were never designed to make it on your own With great privilege comes great responsibility! The People of God are Priceless!

29 Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear. 30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. 31 Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. 32 Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you. Ephesians 4:29-32 Correct Technique– Dependence on the Holy Spirit The strength of our connection to the Person of God directly affects our connection to the People of God.
