History/RS Year 10 visit to Munich, Germany
Friday 17th February 2017 – Monday 20th February 2017 Arrangements overview: Departure: Friday 17th February – Coaches will be departing the school carpark at 6.30am for Manchester airport. Please arrive at school by 6am! (staff will then be able to do last minute passport checks etc!) -Flight check in is at 8.45am, Flight – 10.45am (LH2501) arrival in Munich airport 13.40pm. Arrival at hotel approximately 3.30pm. Return: Monday 20th February Coaches will be pick from hotel approximately pm for Munich airport. Flight check in 19.55pm, Flight pm (LH2504) arrival 23.05pm at Manchester airport Approximately arriving back at school for am TBC

Saturday evening – Meal at the Hard Rock Café TBC £20 Bowling with Pizza and Chips TBC £20 Tram costs into the city centre (11Euros for 4 days, approximately £10 £15 approximately for additional drinks/snacks (water will be available from hotel) You may want to send your son/daughter with additional spending money for souvenirs Bring Euros! Devices Mobile phones Cameras Are your son/daughter’s responsibility
Please ensure their phones are set up for foreign travel and they are insured appropriately. The same rules for the use of mobiles in school will apply on the trip. Any misuse of mobiles in relation to social media etc. will be dealt with severely on the trip and followed up upon our return. If you do not want your son/daughter photographed using the school camera - for future displays and assemblies etc – please inform us prior to travel.

Student safety Each student will be given an emergency card to keep in their purse/wallet during the course of the visit. It will include: School mobile phone number (Miss Watkins/Mr Koenig will have this) Name, address and telephone number of the hotel Name and phone number of the NST tour guides Meeting point in city centre details

Medical form You will be supplied with a medical consent form prior to travel. This must be completed in detail. Please outline any medication you son/daughter is on and details on how it should be administered. Consent for party Leader to provide medication (e.g. Paracetamol / Antihistamine / plasters)

Passport and European Health Insurance Card (EHIC)
These are essential documents! We will need a photocopy of both documents prior to travel
