Authenticity of every LCA study depends on the data it uses. To provide India specific authentic data SimaPro India has been collecting LCI data for the last six years from reputed companies in India. Background processes like electricity, transportation, oil and gas and other major industrial verticals like Steel, Plastics, Textile, agri-products have been collected from reputed Indian companies as shown in next slides. Uncertainty information for all the processes has been provided. Simapro India has endeavoured to stick to quality standards of ecoinvent and others.
