High Schools, Career Tech & 2 Year Community colleges moving away from traditional academic degrees to STEM based certifications, accelerated degrees and career pathway credentialing. Workforce will need nearly 3.5 million manufacturing jobs to be filled and the skills gap is expected to result in 2 million of those jobs going unfilled In 2015, worldwide industrial robot sales rose by 11.5 percent, surpassing for the first time 240,000 units globally, according to the International Federation of Robotics (IFR). By 2018, the IFR estimates that 2.3 million industrial robots will be in operation across the globe. Industrial / Educational Curriculum is the key to closing the job gap

Overview MERIT Program Motoman Endorsed Robotics Instructor Training
The MERIT Program was developed specifically for educational institutions with a vision of becoming a Yaskawa Motoman satellite training facility or to support workforce development certification with industry. Designed to bring the same quality of training, as delivered by the Yaskawa Academy staff, closer to our installed base. Two program levels are available. One for undergraduate certification, and one for workforce and industrial users. Overview
