Who runs international Operations?
Country Manager- over all in charge of country operations. Team Head-manages pickup/remittance operations. Compliance Officer- monitors and implements remittance policy. Cash Custodian-does the accounting function for cargo or remittance. Remittance Associate- processes of customer transactions such as air cargo and money. Branch/Customer Associate- accepts and processes walk in transactions at branch such as air cargo and sea cargo. Cargo Associate- arranges and prepares pickup manifest to be given to drivers. Warehouse Associate- guarantees all boxes are loaded to the container following First In First Out policy. Drivers- collects boxes from shipper’s address.

What are our money remittance products?
We offer the following services: Instant Peso Padala (IPP) same day* Speed Cash (next day) Send and Swipe – same day Credit to Bank – same day** ( with 11 am cut-off manila time ) *75001 and above – next day ** cut off 11 am (local time)

What is IPP? Real time cash-pick up remittance
transaction of LBC. Designed as a “pick-up, anywhere” service which allows the receiver to receive the cash from any participating LBC branch location A sender can send up to 100,000 PHP however transactions over 75,000 will be available for pick up the following day in the designated branch. The receiver must provide the tracking number of the transactions and present valid ID government issued ID in order to pick up the funds. 100,000 PER TRANSACTION limit

What is Speed Cash? Delivery of cash/check right thru your home the following day. Anything in excess of 100, 000 for Metro Manila will be delivered in Cheque and 50,000 for Provinces. The receiver must provide the tracking number of the transactions and present valid ID government issued ID in order to pick up the funds. 100,000 PER TRANSACTION limit

What is Send and Swipe? You can Send/Load money in any LBC branch worldwide and can be used in paying bills thru RCBC, RCBC Savings Bank and other BancNet ATMs or through BancNet Online. Debit and Remittance Card in one. Transact within the day, credit to your LBC account as fast as 3 seconds. Can be used to pay purchase in Visa affiliated merchants and even online. Remittance/debit card in one. Megalink/bancnet/expressnet affiliates. Will deduct P100 if no transaction will be made within the year. It does not earn interest. No maintaining balance. No transaction fee for purchases made at any BancNet or Visa accredited merchants. 100,000/month limit

What is Credit to Bank? Your remittance deposited to your Philippine bank account on the same day. Cut off: 11am (MNL time) Cut off 11 am Bank Deposit: Personal Account only If caller called before 11am Philippine time money will be deposited same day. Please advise to check at 3pm-5pm on their bank. If beyond cut-off money will be credited the next day and advise to check in the afternoon at 3pm-5 pm.

Always remember…. IPP transactions of Php 10, to 75, is required to identify SPECIFIC PICK-UP BRANCH’ for High Value encashment (HVE) IPP Transactions with Php 75, and above will again be ‘LOCKED’ and is due for encashment Next Day. Customer Associate must ensure the availability of a valid ID on the part of the consignee/beneficiary. For security purposes, system automatically locks all IPP transactions beyond 8 days. IPP pay out also can be done through Palawan Pawnshops outlets

What do I need to know about CARGO rates?
Rates would vary from country to country. But breakdown is usually the following charges: Freight Charge Taxes Valuation Charges (if applicable) *Valuation charge – if declared value is greater than the maximum insured value Custom duties – if there are charges on top of the fees

How do I send my cargo? You may send your cargo by visiting the branch or have it picked up via LBC through over the phone or online booking or through its respective partner subject to scheduling. *

What do I need to know about cut offs?
Cut offs vary on type of cargo (Sea or Air). If pick up cut off wasn’t followed, then the whole delivery timeline may also be affected. Cutoffs are already uploaded in VISTRA.

What do I need to know about Freight Charge for Sea Cargo?
Freight charges vary from country to country. Usually its either the charge of the standard LBC box or the volumetric weight of a preferred container (odd size) multiplied by the CBM of that country. Ultimately, it would depend on the size of the box and the destination. To compute for the volumetric weight: Length x Width x Height (in cm) / 1,000,000 x CBM If customer is not familiar with the dimensions of their cargo then a rough estimate would do

Faster than SEA Cargo. Intended for documents or parcels. Depending on the weight, documents are automatically converted to Parcels AIR Cargo needs to be inspected 100%.

What do I need to know about AIR Cargo cut-off?
Singapore For those Air cargo box weighing 10 Kg and above, Customers can avail of the free pick up from their specified location. However if it’s below 10 kg, they will be charged of SGD per box Airbox sizes: Medium – 42x26x28 ( Minimum of 7 kG ) Large x41x31 ( Minimum of 14 Kg)

Tax regulations and charges vary from country to country. Usually AIR Cargo is taxable.

What are taxable ITEMS for CARGO?
Electronic items or appliances are shipped at owner's risk. LBC does not assume liability for damages incurred in shipping these items. Commercial Quantity – LBC cannot ship any items of the same kind in commercial quantities. Quantity of the same kind greater than 12 is considered commercial quantity.

What are valuation charges?
Valuation charges are additional charges if the declared value of the shipment is greater than the insured value. Insured values are already part of the freight charge.

What do I need to know pickup in Australia?
Areas under Ballarat in Melbourne should be endorsed to Sheryl Hart (contractor) located at 1231 B Howitte St. Wendoree. Areas under Central Coast in Sydney should be logged in CMOS and not in Vistra. We have pickup contractors in Sydney and Melbourne that can cater collection aside from our warehouse.

What are important reminders for CARGO?
Choose the appropriate box for the size of your shipment Tape all seams and flaps using the proper packing tape Secure fragile and breakable items with bubble wrap and place in the center of the box Fill empty spaces with crumpled newspaper or styrofoam “peanuts” to secure contents Ensure that complete name and address of recipient and sender is visible and written legibly *Valuation charge – if declared value is greater than the maximum insured value Custom duties – if there are charges on top of the fees

PROHIBITED ITEMS for CARGO?
The PROHIBITED ITEMS list summarizes items not accepted by LBC for transport. This list is not all inclusive and is subject to change without notice. Alcoholic beverages Animals, such as birds, fish, reptiles, dead animals or animals that has been mounted. Articles of unusual value, such as priceless art, jewelry, collectibles, and antiques. Cash, coins , stamps, negotiable stocks, bonds, bank drafts, cash letters, and other negotiable instruments equivalent to cash. Fireworks Dangerous Goods or hazardous materials: Corrosive, explosives, toxics, or other substances. Explosives, flares, matches. Firearms of any kind, ammunition, and gun parts. Flammable goods. Furs Hazardous materials, hazardous waste, including, but not limited to used hypodermic needles, syringes or other medical wastes.

Human or animal remains, corpses, organs, embryos, body parts or cremated or disinterred human remains. 13. Improperly packaged shipments Lottery tickets and gambling devices Packages that are wet, leaking or that emit a strong odor of any kind. Perishables, including food, foodstuffs, beverages requiring refrigeration Pharmaceuticals Plants, plant materials, seeds, including cut flowers Pornographic materials Shipments that require LBC to obtain any special license or permit for transportation, importation or exportation 21. Tobacco, cigarettes, tobacco products 22. Used gasoline tanks (filled or empty) or any used gasoline – powered device or equipment with an integral fuel tank (full or empty). New, empty gasoline tanks or gasoline powered devices are acceptable in original unopened packaging.
