The Prince and the Pauper is perhaps Twain’s best known novel of “switched identities.” Here’s information about another of his “switched identity” novels, perhaps not as well known, but well worth reading. You may be familiar with the Pudd’nhead Wilson calendar quotes that are in the novel, but the novel unfolds larger lessons along with these shorter, often humorous, sayings. My class watched a good movie based on the novel that I hope you can find somewhere even if you don’t read the book. Here’s a link to a website to give information, and the next slide is the assignment we did. You can Google much more information if you wish. Perhaps the books has a wider audience than I realized. Hope so.
