2. Welcome address
We sincerely welcome all of you to the 2nd batch of Global Astrology online and thank you for taking interest in joining the sessions. We are certain that most of you have heard of Vedic Astrology and its application in various different facets of life. But our objective is to view Vedic Astrology in scientific approach and develop evidence based study by various statistical analysis and take you all to a new dimension. 5. SIVA- Mission
The Sarvamangala Institute of Vedic Astrology (SIVA) is a non-profit  organization whose mission is “to promote the art and practice of Vedic Astrology to a wider audience globally, who would promote further and develop this practice into evidence based study for future generations”.

6. Acknowledgement
The institution is supported by well wisher of an extensive network of consumer of Vedic astrology from the world over.
The seed of forming an institution was instilled by Mr.T.S.Krishnamurthy in Sydney, Australia in 1997 an elderly retired gentleman, a visionary and very active promoter of astrology.
It is he who suggested to give mother’s name for the institution(who happened to be my first Guru and an alma mater in astrology).
Thus the institution was christened to commemorate the great lady who sacrificed all her life for the cause of children’s welfare.

7. Registration
In September 2006 the institution was registered under the trust act at the office of the Sub-registrar, Bangalore, India  under the banner of “Om Shri Vanaprasthashram Trust” .  
SIVA was one of the five field of activities conceived in the project plan to develop an International astrological school in a guru-kula system.
The website was launched & inaugurated by the blessings from Sri T S Krishnamurthy on January 15, 2015 from Canberra, Australia to enhance the activity for wider platform .
