The Iron Age The Iron Age was named the Iron Age because it was when they first discovered how to make Iron. The Iron Age started in 2300 BC and ended in 43 AD.

Warfare Iron Age weapons included: swords, spears, arrows and axes. Iron age tools such as knives, hooks and ploughs.

Clothing People from the Iron Age wore torques, animal skins, leather, tunics, trousers and a belt. The tunics (made with wool) were dyed by nettles and other plants and berries.

Houses and Settlements
The Iron age people learnt how to build roundhouses. The roundhouses were better because they were bigger an had a slanted roof so the rain runs of easier.

Spirituality They sacrificed animals and sometimes even humans. They worshipped there god in sacred laces such as lakes, rivers, cliffs and bushes.
