2. towns
There are approximately 27 towns in County Antrim. Bushmills is my favourite town in Antrim. It is home to the world’s oldest whiskey distillery. Bushmills is located 60 miles from Belfast.
Here are some facts about Antrim:
Antrim is located in the north east of Northern Ireland.
Bushmills is on the banks of the River Bush.
Antrim town is half a mile northeast of lough Neagh,
the largest lake by area in the British Isles.
Belfast, in County Antrim, is the capital city of Northern Ireland.

3. Tourist attractions
Belfast city - there are many shops and things to explore in Belfast. The Christmas markets are great. The Antrim coast road is a world famous drive, it’s a scenic experience not to be missed. Ballycastle has a great beach to go to, it makes a great day out. The Giant’s Causeway is an amazing experience that you will never forget. At the end of your amazing trip to the Giant’s Causeway make sure you bring a few pounds with you so you can get the bus and a ice cream as it’s a long walk back to the top. Portrush has amazing soft sandy beaches, packed in the summer. Full with shops and cafes and lots of hotels to stay in, it makes a fun place to visit. Barry’s Amusements in Portrush is one of my favourite places to visit.

Belfast is famous for it’s heavy engineering.
No city in the world built more ships in the early 20th century – Harland & Wolff being the most famous.
The new London Routemaster bus was designed and is built in Ballymena, County Antrim. The company is called Wright Bus.
Aeroplanes are also built in Belfast by Bombardier Aerospace, the province’s largest industrial employer.

5. biodiversity
I have chosen to type about the Giants Causeways because I have been there so many times and because it is so interesting. Here are some facts about its biodiversity . The rock is a type of basalt. There is a legend about the giants causeway but it is just made up, it is meant to be formed into shape by a volcano exploding. There was around 851,000 visitors last year.
