The highest rates for recycling were reported by Germany
(48 %, 274 kg per capita), Sweden (36 %, 171 kg per capita) and Belgium (36 %, 175 kg per capita), whereas Austria
(40 %, 235 kg per capita) and the Netherlands (28 %, 144 kg per capita) reported the largest shares of composting.
